Introduction This memorandum outlines the official guidelines and procedures for the upcoming 2025 All Progressives Congress (APC) Lower Level elections. These elections will determine leadership positions at the Ward, Local Government, and State levels, and are crucial for strengthening our party structure ahead of the general elections. 2. Key Election Dates - Nomination Period: August 15 - September 15, 2025 - Screening of Candidates: August 20-28, 2025 - Appeals Window: September 1-7, 2025 - Election Days: - Ward Level: August 15, 2025 - Constituency Level: September 22, 2025 - District Level: October 29, 2025 3. Eligibility Requirements Candidates must meet the following criteria: - Registered APC member for at least 2 years - Minimum educational qualification: O'Level certificate - No pending criminal cases - Party dues paid up to date - Resident in the constituency for at least 1 year 4. Nomination Process 1. Obtain nomination forms from respective District offices 2. Complete and submit with required documents by August 15 3. Pay non-refundable nomination fees: - Ward Positions: Le20,000 - Constituency Positions: Le50,000 - District Positions: Le100,000 5.
